In Londen zijn de Golden Joystick Awards plaatsgevonden voor onder meer de Game of the Year, Best Storytelling en nog veel meer.
Voor de Game of the Year had je drie kandidaten waaronder The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, Horizon Zero Dawn en Persona 5. Uiteindelijk won Zelda de Game of the Year en is Horizon Zero Dawn als tweede en Persona 5 als derde geëindigd.
Wel heeft Horizon Zero Dawn als beste verhaal de eerste plaats weten te pakken. Voor de beste Nintento game streden The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild en Super Mario Odyssey voor de eerste plaats, waaruit weer Zelda de eerste plaats heeft gekregen.
