Play by Play Studios, opgericht door ex-werknemers van Electronic Arts die ervaring hebben met het maken van sport games, hebben de game The Run: Got Next aangekondigd met de onderstaande trailer.
The Run: Got Next is de spirituele opvolger van een geliefde klassieker namelijk NBA Street. Net als FIFA Street was NBA Street waar het draaide om het basketballen op Straat met het uitvoeren van coole moves, destijds erg populair. Play by Play Studios streeft om met The Run: Got Next de core van NBA Street te houden, maar verder alles te moderniseren zoals de graphics en psychics.
In The Run: Got Next speel je in teams van 3 tegen 3 basketbalwedstrijden. Het is mogelijk om alleen, in co-op of tegen andere spelers in online wedstrijden te spelen.
