Afgelopen nacht werd The Game Awards 2024 gehouden. Heel wat prijzen zijn uitgereikt voor onder andere de beste game van het jaar, beste game acteur, beste vechtgame en beste sportgame.
Hieronder zijn alle winnaars per categorie te vinden. De grote winnaar van dit jaar is de PlayStation 5-exclusieve Astro Bot geworden van de kleine maar zeer getalenteerde Japanse studio Team Asobi. Ook de JRPG Metaphor: ReFantazio van Atlus en SEGA heeft veel veel prijzen weten te winnen.
