De Harry Potter-franchise doet voortreffelijk werk met boeken en films, maar wat betreft games hebben we nooit onvergetelijke topgame gekregen. Daar komt wellicht in de nabije toekomst verandering in, want vandaag is een grote Harry Potter game gelekt.
Een video met een trailer van een onaangekondigde Harry Potter-game is vandaag gelekt. Het betreft een third person open wereld action RPG waarbij je een eigen 5e jaars student kan aanmaken. Spelers zullen bekende plekken uit de franchise zoals The Forbidden Forrest en Hogwarts bezoeken, maar ook totaal nieuwe plekken.
De beelden zijn niet nep want uitgever Warner Bros heeft alle video’s meteen van YouTube offline gehaald. In de nog werkende video hieronder staat dat Rocksteady Studios mogelijk de ontwikkelaar is, maar dat lijkt ons sterk aangezien deze zou werken aan een DC-comics superhero-game. Volgens een gerucht van vorige jaar zou Avalanche Software aan een Harry Potter-game werken. Dit is niet Avalance Studios die we kennen van de Just Cause-serie.
Nu de game gelekt is, zal de officiële onthullen wel eens heel snel kunnen komen.
