Over iets minder dan een maandje verschijnt alweer de volgende Far Cry-game namelijk Far Cry: New Dawn. Het verhaal speelt zich enkele jaren na Far Cry 5 af binnen Hope Country. De stad is verwoest door nucleaire aanvallen en het leven is niet meer zoals je gewend bent.
