PUBG Corporation heeft vandaag een samenwerking aangekondigd met Call of Duty-veteraan Glen Schofield voor een nieuwe PUBG-game. Glen Schofield vertrok vorige jaar bij uitgever Activision en de studio Sledgehammer Games, waar hij medeoprichter van was.
Glen Schofield is inmiddels een eigen indiestudio begonnen genaamd Striking Distance, en de eerste game van deze studio wordt een nieuwe PUBG-game. Glen heeft de taak om het nieuwe PUBG-project te overzien. Glen Schofield heeft het volgende te zeggen over de samenwerking met PUBG Corporation:
As a creative, the freedom to explore the PUBG universe has me excited about the possibilities, which we view as beyond battle royale” Schofield said. “I’m excited for the next step, which is finding the right people to join us on this journey.
Glen Schofield is de grote man achter topgames zoals de Dead Space-trilogie, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare en Call of Duty: WWII.
