Riot Games die nog enkele maanden geleden meerdere game projecten aankondigde, komt tijdens The Game Awards met nog een game-onthulling gebaseerd op League of Legends. Deze onaangekondigde game wordt niet intern ontwikkeld door Riot Games zelf, maar door third party ontwikkelaars onder het etiket Riot Force.
Riot Forge werkt aan meerdere single player-games gebaseerd op de lore van League of Legends. Eén daarvan wordt aanstaande donderdagnacht uit de doeken gedaan. Nog enkele dagen geduld dus voor de officiële onthulling.
Greg Street, de vice president of IP and Entertainment bij Riot Games zegt het volgende over de nieuwe projecten bij Riot Force:
