IGN’s Summer of Gaming-evenement had enkele dagen geleden moeten beginnen, maar werd uitgesteld naar maandag 8 juni wegens de protesten in de Verenigde Staten. Omdat 8 juni de begrafenis is van de vermoorde George Floyd, heeft IGN besloten om het evenement opnieuw uit te stellen uit respect.
IGN’ Summer of Gaming-evenement begint nu op woensdag 10 juni. Het uitstellen heeft ervoor gezorgd dat meer ontwikkelaars en uitgevers zich hebben gemeld bij IGN, waardoor we gedurende de maand juni dus nog meer onthullingen krijgen.
Grote uitgevers waaronder 2K Games, Amazon, Bandai Namco, Devolver Digital, Google, SEGA, Square-Enix en THQ Nordic doen mee met Summer of Gaming. Gamers kunnen uitkijken naar livestreams met daarin presentaties, previews, interviews, discussies, hands-on demo’s, nieuwssegmenten en meer.
