GTA Online komt volgend jaar naar de next-gen consoles, maar Rockstar blijft GTA Online updaten op de huidige consoles.
Rockstar laat weten dat GTA Online ergens dit jaar een spannend nieuw avontuur krijgt. Wat het nieuw avontuur wordt is nog niet bekend, maar het moet wel een verband hebben met oude contacten.
Later dit jaar brengt Rockstar games ook de game Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition uit.
The Definitive Edition bevat Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto III en Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Deze collectie komt later dit jaar uit voor de PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X en S, Xbox One, Nintendo
Switch en PC. In de eerste helft van 2022 komt Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition ook naar iOS en Android.
