Binnenkort verschijnt Sonic the Hedgehog 2, maar vandaag maakt SEGA al bekend dat een derde film gemaakt gaat worden. Ook wordt er een tv-serie gemaakt voor Paramount+
De tv-serie staat gepland voor een release in 2023 op Paramount+, en het gaat over het personage Knuckles, de rivaal van Sonic. De stem van Knuckles wordt gedaan door bekende acteur Idris Alba.
Vanaf 8 april is Sonic the Hedgehog 2 te zien in de bioscoop. De eerste film werd heel goed ontvangen door de critici en gaming community. Sonic the Hedgehog deed het fantastisch in de bioscopen en wordt gezien als de meest succesvolle live action film gebaseerd op een game-franchise.
