Het is officieel, The Last of US krijgt ook God of War een live action tv-serie. Sony Pictures, PlayStation Productions en Amazon Studios hebben een samenwerking aangekondigd voor het maken van een live action tv-serie.
De serie zal naar verluidt gaan over God of War 2018 waarbij Kratos en zijn zoon Atreus op pad gaan om de laatste wens van Faye te vervullen. God of War 2018 game directeur Cory Barlog heeft ook een rol bij dit project.
Het script wordt geschreven door Mark Fergus en Hawk Ostby (Iron Man, Children of Men). De showrunner van dit project is Rafe Judkins (The Wheel of Time).

Nu het allemaal officieel is, willen fans alleen maar één ding weten: wie gaat hoofdpersoon Kratos spelen? Christopher Judge die de motion capture en stem van Kratos deed in de videogames, gaf eerder dit jaar aan mee te willen doen in een eventueel live action project.
De meest recente game God of War: Ranarok is verkrijgbaar voor de PlayStation 4 en PlayStation 5. Wie God of War: Ragnarok op de PS4 koopt, kan voor €9,99 upgraden naar de PS5-versie.
