PlayStation Plus Extra en Premium zijn deze maand een jaar oud. Om dit te vieren heeft Sony een nieuwe feature aangekondig die binnenkort beschikbaar wordt voor Premium-leden.
Binnenkort wordt het namelijk mogelijk voor Premium-leden om PlayStation 5-games via de Cloud te spelen op een PlayStation 5-console. Zo hoef je de game niet te installeren. Deze feature wordt beschikbaar voor games uit de PS Plus Premium catalogus, game trials en de games die je hebt aangeschaft. PS Plus Essential en Extra-leden krijgen deze feature niet.
“When this feature launches, cloud game streaming for supported PS5 titles will be available for use directly on your PS5 console,” Sony said. “That means as a Premium member, it’ll be easier to jump into your favorite games without downloading them first onto your PS5 console.”
Sony added: “As more games continue to launch on the PS5 console, we look forward to adding cloud streaming capability for PS5 titles in addition to the PS3, PS4 and classic titles that are already available for Premium members to stream.
“We’re in the early stages right now, and we can’t wait to share more details when we’re ready, including a launch time frame.”
