EA’s Dead Space-team werkt al een tijdje aan een Iron Man-game, maar dat is niet de enige Marvel superhero game waar EA aan werkt.
Een nieuwe studio gevestigd in Seatle America genaamd Cliffhanger Games werkt aan een AAA Marvel third person superhero game. Aan het roer van dit project staat Kevin Stephens, bekend van zijn werk bij Monolith Productions voor de games Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor en Shadow of War. Andere veterenen die ervaring hebben met Halo Infinite, God of War en Call of Duty zijn gerekruteerd voor het realiseren van dit project.
“We’re dedicated to delivering fans a definitive and authentic Black Panther experience, giving them more agency and control over their narrative than they have ever experienced in a story-driven video game. Wakanda is a rich SuperHero sandbox, and our mission is to develop an epic world for players who love Black Panther and want to explore the world of Wakanda as much as we do,” said Kevin.
As we begin this remarkable journey, we are excited to be working with Marvel Games to ensure that we craft every aspect of Wakanda, its technology, its heroes, and our own original story with the attention to detail and authenticity that the world of Black Panther deserves.

Een definitieve titel, releasedatum of platforms zijn er nog niet voor de Black Panther game. Mogelijk moet eerst de Iron Man-game verschijnen.
