Ontwikkelaar Starbreeze die afgelopen zomer nog kwam met de co-op heist shooter Payday 3, maakt nu bekend dat er gewerkt wordt aan een nieuw project met codenaam Baxter.
Dit project zal hevig geïnspireerd worden door de populaire Dungeons & Dragons bordgames, waar recente hit Baldur’s Gate 3 ook erg veel overeenkomsten mee heeft. Het project van Starbreeze zal gebaseerd worden op de Dungeons & Dragons intellectual property van Wizards of the Coast en zal uitgegeven worden door Starbreeze Entertainment. Het plan is om deze game in het jaar 2026 uit te brengen op alle platforms met ondersteuning voor cross-play, ondertussen zal Payday 3 ook ondersteund worden met updates en gloednieuwe content. Hieronder is de eerste concept art van het nieuwe project van Starbreeze te zien.
