Age of Mythology keert terug dit jaar met de game Age of Mythology: Retold. Dat heeft Microsoft aangekondigd met de onderstaande nieuwe trailer.
Age of Mythology: Retold combineert het nostalgische met moderne real time strategy design en graphics. Daardoor is deze game geschikt voor ervaren spelers, maar ook nieuwkomers. In deze game zullen mensen, monsters en goden in conflict komen. Spelers kunnen goden, monsters en krachten kiezen uit de Griekse, Noordse, Egyptische of Atlantische mythologieën. Er is een verhaalgedreven campagne met 50 missies. Daarnaast heeft deze game ondersteuning voor co-op tot wel 11 spelers tegelijk.

- Arena of the Gods – Challenge the Labyrinth in the all-new Trials of the Gods for single-player and co-op. Collect powerful Blessings, join your friends, and take on new challenges to overcome the Arena where the gods themselves do battle.
- Better with Friends – Play with up to 11 of your friends, either head-to-head or against the advanced AI on dozens of randomly-generated maps and scenarios for limitless re-playability.
