Bungie heeft een leuke actie om spelers up to date te krijgen voor The Final Shape-uitbreiding van Destiny 2 die over een klein maandje gaat uitkomen.
De uitbreidingen The Witch Queen, Beyond Light en Shadowkeep zijn tot de release van The Final Shape, helemaal gratis te spelen op alle platforms waar Destiny 2 speelbaar is. Tot 3 juni 2024 zijn deze uitbreidingen helemaal gratis zonder extra kosten te spelen. Zo zijn spelers weer up to date voor het verhaal wat gaat komen in The Final Shape. Ook is alle seizoenscontent van het zesde jaar van Destiny 2 tot en met 3 juni beschikbaar voor alle spelers. Denk aan Season of Defiance, Season of the Deep, Season of the Witch en Season of the Wish.
Leden van PlayStation Plus Essential op de PlayStation 4 en PlayStation 5, kunnen ook nog aan de slag met de uitbreiding Lightfall. Deze is gedurende de maand mei helemaal gratis te claimen en voor altijd te spelen, zolang je een lidmaatschap hebt op PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra of Premium.
Dan op 4 juni verschijnt Destiny 2: The Final Shape. Dit wordt het einde van de light versus darkness sage wat 10 jaar geleden begon. The Final Shape wordt dus een afsluiter van een Destiny 2-hoofdstuk.
“The Final Shape is the culmination of the first ten years of Destiny storytelling and, for Guardians everywhere, countless hours spent together,“ according to Bungie. In The Final Shape, Guardians will pursue the Witness into the Pale Heart of the Traveler, rally the Vanguard, and seek to end the War of Light and Darkness.”
Destiny 2: The Final Shape staat gepland voor 4 juli 2024 voor de PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X en de PC.
