Capcom behoort ongetwijfeld tot één van de beste uitgevers van deze generatie. Vrijwel alle games die Capcom heeft uitgebracht sinds de PlayStation 5 en Xbox Series-consoles zijn verschenen, zijn hits geweest.
Denk aan games als Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, Monster Hunter Rise, Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake en Street Fighter 6. Over enkele maanden komt Capcom alweer met een nieuwe zeer geanticipeerde game, namelijk de single player fantasy RPG Dragon’s Dogma II. Capcom hield onlangs een livestream omtrent deze game. Daar is 15 minuten aan gloednieuwe gameplay getoond. De video is hieronder te bekijken, maar wel in het Japans.
Dragon’s Dogma II is een single player RPG van de makers van Devil May Cry. In deze fantasy RPG worden je teamgenoten bestuurd door de AI. Er is geen co-op en geen multiplayer. Dit is een pure single player ervaring zoals een The Witcher met heel veel replaywaarde, want iedere class beschikt over eigen mechanics en vaardigheden en progressie. Er zijn aan het begin van de game vier Vocations namelijk Fighter, Archer, Thief en Mage. Later in de game krijg je toegang tot nog geavanceerde Vocations namelijk Magick Archer, Trickster en Mystic Spearhand.
