In Canada zijn er momenteel opnames aan de gang voor The Last of Us tv-serie voor HBO.
Verschillende foto’s van de set zijn verschenen op het internet waaronder verlaten omgevingen, maar ook acteur Pedro Pascal als hoofdpersoon Joel Miller.
Het verhaal van de tv-serie zal gaan over de eerste The Last of Us videogame, maar producer Neil Druckmann gaf aan dat de serie deels gaat afwijken van de game.
Verder is de cast van The Last of Us tv-serie als volgt:

- Merle Dandridge (Marlene)
De serie zal tien afleveringen bevatten, een releasedatum is niet bekendgemaakt.
