Bij release zullen er twee verschillende PlayStation 5-consoles zijn. Een digitale editie en eentje met een Blu-Ray disc. Beide zullen wel volledig wit zijn. Sony gaf al aan dat er op termijn wellicht nog andere kleuren verschijnen, maar dat zal nog niet voor onmiddellijk zijn.
Enkele fans gingen dan maar zelf aan de slag in Photoshop om hun eigen droom PlayStation 5 te maken en dat leverde al enkele prachtige resultaten op zoals een Spider-Man PS5 en God of War PS5 editie.
Deze keer maakte nog iemand anders ook twee PlayStation 5-concepten en wellicht de meest indrukwekkende dat we reeds zagen. Hij liet zich inspireren op Cyberpunk 2077 en Horizon II om de consoles te maken en het resultaat is verbluffend.
