Moon Studios is bekend geworden met de geweldige platformers Ori and the Blind Forest en Ori and the Will of the Whisps. Een derde game leek heel aannemelijk, maar Moon Studios komt nu met de uitdagende actiegame No Rest for the Wicked.
Dat hoeft niet te betekenen dat er geen Ori 3 gaat komen, sterker nog Moon Studios co-founder Gennadiy Korol heeft in een interview met de website Game Informer aangegeven dat er al een idee is voor een eventuele Ori 3 en dat er zelfs een mogelijke titel is. Toch is Moon Studios op dit moment helemaal gefocust op de game No Rest for the Wicked die volgende week gelanceerd wordt op Steam Early Access. Samen met de community streeft Moon Studios om No Rest for the Wicked iets heel speciaals te maken. Het lijkt erop dat na No Rest for the Wicked, Moon Studios terug gaat keren naar Ori.

“I think were were pretty happy with where it left off. I think we were able to complete the story of Ori. It’s a complete arc now; if you play both games, it’s a complete story. So it felt like the only way we would come back to Ori 3 is if we have more to say, more story to tell. “I have some ideas, I have a title for it already, but so far, right now, we are completely focused on No Rest for the Wicked for the time being.”
No Rest for the Wicked heeft nu een Early Access releasedatum. De game is vanaf 18 april 2024 speelbaar via Steam Early Access. Later wanneer de game is afgerond met feedback van games en versie 1.0 af is, verschijnt No Rest for the Wicked ook op de PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S en Xbox Series X.
Ori and the Blid Forest en Ori and the Will of the Wisps zijn speelbaar op de Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC en de Nintendo Switch. De games zijn ook beschikbaar voor iedereen die een lidmaatschap heeft op Xbox Game Pass.
