Ontwikkelaar Pocket Pair is begonnen met het uitrollen van Palworld update v0.1.5.0. Palworld is nu al de meest succesvolle game van 2024 met meer dan 25 miljoen spelers in een maand tijd. Het is een enorm succes, maar Palworld is nog altijd een Early Access-game, een niet af product met veel verbeterpunten en zelfs game breaking bugs.
Enkele van deze vervelende bugs worden nu aangepakt met de nieuwe update. Zo worden probelemen met save data opgelost door een backup te maken in de World Selection screen. Er is nu keyboard key configuration-ondersteuning, Guild members kunnen nu verwijderd worden, interactie met objecten moet nu minder moeizaam verlopen en het gedrag van Pals is verbeterd met een betere AI die reageert op de commando’s van de trainer. Verder zijn er verschillende bugs aangepakt wat betreft bouwen van je eigen basis, het gedrag van Pals, het verkrijgen van XP, netwerkproblemen zijn aangepakt, Pals zijn voorzien van balansaanpassingen en veel meer. Palworld wordt ook wel Pokémon met wapens genoemd, is een open wereld survival-game met veel elementen uit andere games met name Pokémon. Zo kan je wilde beesten vangen en ermee vechten, maar je moet ook resources zoals hout en steen verzamelen om bijvoorbeeld een huis te bouwen.
Palworld is speelbaar op de Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X en de PC via Steam en de Microsoft Store. De game heeft een prijskaartje van €29,99. De volledige game is ook speelbaar voor leden van Xbox Game Pass.
