Open wereld zombiegame Days Gone die oorspronkelijk eind dit jaar zou verschijnen voor de PlayStation 4, werd enkele maanden geleden uitgesteld naar 22 februari 2019. Nu laat Sony weten dat de game opnieuw uitgesteld is.
Dit is een strategische beslissing van Sony omdat er in februari te veel grote games uitkomen. Zo verschijnen Anthem, Metro Exodus, Left Alive en Crackdown 3 in februari. In Maart is dat Sekiro: Shadows die Twice, Devil May Cry 5 en The Division 2. In april echter zijn er nog weinig games gepland en zodoende kan Days Gone beter presteren in april. Sony laat weten dat Days Gone op 26 april 2019 zal verschijnen op de PlayStation 4. De extra twee maanden zullen gebruikt worden om de game nog meer te polishen.

We recently decided to move the release of Days Gone from the crowded February timeframe to 26th April 2019. While the studio is eager to see Days Gone in the hands of fans, Bend Studio will take the opportunity to further polish Days Gone.
