De Nintendo Switch 2 is volledig uit de doeken gedaan. De nieuwe console van Nintendo is compatible met je game-bibliotheek van je huidige Nintendo Switch. Daarnaast gaan er veel nieuwe Nintendo Switch 2-games verschijnen. De launch line-up en de games die later gaan verschijnen, zijn nu bekendgemaakt. Games worden flink duurder op de Nintendo Switch 2
Iets wat Nintendo tijdens de presentatie niet had bekendgemaakt, maar wat snel werd gespot op de officiële website, is dat first party games op de Nintendo Switch 2, flink duurder gaan worden dan games die verschijnen op de huidige Nintendo Switch. Mario Kart World gaat niet €60 of €70, maar €90 kosten als je gaat voor de fysieke versie. De digitale editie is €10 goedkoper. De aankomende 3D platformer Donkey Kong Bananza gaat €79,99 kosten in de winkelrekken. In de Nintendo Switch eShop gaat deze game €69,99 kosten.
