Geoff Keighley die nog een paar weken geleden de openingspresentatie deed van de Gamescom, zal over enkele maanden wederom de presentatie doen van The Game Awards. De jaarlijkse show waar de beste game van het jaar wordt gekozen en heel veel nieuwe aankondigingen worden gedaan, zal op 12 december op de Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles plaatsvinden. De kaartverkoop is inmiddels al begonnen.
Dit jaar is de show vijf jaar oud en dat zal gevierd worden met veel game onthullingen. Volgens Keighley zal The Game Awards dit jaar heel speciaal worden. De afgelopen jaren kwamen Sony, Nintendo en Microsoft altijd met een aankondiging tijdens The Game Awards.

Today, I am happy to share the date for The Game Awards. Thursday, December 12. This year’s show will celebrate the act of creation, as I turn the stage over to a group of visionary teams selected to share their new projects with you.
