Tijdens de THQ Nordic Digital Showcase werd de game Alone in the Dark aangekondigd.
Dit is een reboot van de franchise. Net als het origineel, speelt de game zich af in Derceto Manor waar spelers het mysterie van Jeremy Hartwoord moeten ontrafelen. Spelers kunnen aan de slag als detective Edward of Emily. Beide hoofdpersonen hebben eigen unieke scenes. Spelers moeten in deze game vechten tegen angstaanjagende monsters, het landhuis verkennen en verschillende puzzels oplossen.

- A classic horror experience, featuring combat, puzzle, exploration, and story.
- While presenting a completely original story, we incorporate characters, places, and themes from the 90s original trilogy.

- Experience a deep psychological story that goes beyond the realms of the imaginable, by Mikael Hedberg, cult horror writer of SOMA and Amnesia.
- Trapped inside the gothic mansion, you encounter mind bending anomalies and fight back the evil that has infiltrated the house…
Alone in the Dark staat gepland voor een release in 2023 voor de PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S en de PC.
